The Blessed Hammer Paladin, often called Hammerdin or Hdin, is a staple build in Diablo 2 for several years. It excels at sniping Elite monsters, in addition to a large majority of the games activities.

The Hdins main damage Skill is Blessed Hammer, which deals Magic Damage. This is an ideal damage type thinking about the extremely insufficient Magic Immune monsters throughout Diablo 2. The hammers come with an additional benefit of dealing 150% harm to Undead and Demons, which makes it an amazing Chaos Sanctuary farmer. Blessed Hammer is paired with Auras for example Concentration which makes it ideal for group play.

For survivability, the Hdin utilizes Holy Shield to greatly increase Defense and Chance to Block. Holy Shield also offers a hidden mechanic which drastically accelerates the block animation, which makes it extremely useful.
