Saab has unveiled Skapa by Saab, a groundbreaking initiative designed to fast-track the development and deployment of advanced technologies and solutions.

Skapa highlights Saab's adaptive and forward-thinking strategy, rapidly creating local intellectual property. The name "Skapa," Swedish for "to create, to make, to shape," reflects Saab's commitment to innovation and addressing global challenges.

“Saab has a long, successful history of producing exceptional products, and Skapa will enhance those products with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics, making them smarter and solving operational problems,” said Erik Smith, President and CEO of Saab in the U.S. “Skapa symbolizes our commitment to continuous evolution and excellence. Skapa will accelerate the development of new solutions and redefine production methods. As part of this initiative, Saab will showcase enhancements to the test platform Enforcer 3.1, a converted Combat Boat 90 autonomous system. Skapa will leverage emerging technologies to further refine these and other systems in the U.S.
