It is a fact that I, Craig Raucher, have been linked to basketball for quite some time. I have the distinction of working in the logistics and transportation industry for over three decades, but my passion for the game continued unabated during this phase of my life. I have been playing college basketball for more than five decades, and I had the distinction of being the Commissioner of the Staten Island Basketball League as well. 

SIBL founded in 1980

This league was founded in 1980 and it took place at the Public School 8 in Great Kills. Most players playing right here are in the age group of 40 to 70 years, and they play the games in a highly competitive spirit. The games take place in sessions consisting of 3 hours, and these happen on Monday and Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. The good thing is that these games are a fantastic opportunity for the players to have a great workout that helps them to stay in shape.
