KLM Missed Flight Policy
According to the KLM missed flight policy, if the passengers were unable to catch their flight and possess a non-refundable ticket then in that scenario entire ticket amount may be forfeited and passengers may be required to purchase a new key to travel. In continuation, Airlines imposes certain terms and conditions for the travellers who missed their flight due to some unforeseen circumstance:-
1) In compliance with airlines missed flight policy if the traveller fails to board the flight then they can either rebook the next available flight or request for the refund.
2) Dutch Airlines, KLM does not charge any additional fees for rebooking the flight once you missed, all you are required to pay the fare difference.
3) If you miss the first flight and any part of connecting flights then Airlines cancels the rest of your itinerary.
4) Additionally, in the cases of self-transfer flights, KLM automatically rebooks its passengers to the next available flights without any extra charges if they somehow miss their flights.
5) If booked through a travel agent, you must contact him for rebooking assistance after you miss your flight.
Rebooking the Missed KLM Flight
Dutch Airlines , KLM has smooth and convenient booking process for its passengers even for those who fails to board their flight on time.
a) Visit the official website of KLM Airlines or paste the link https://www.klm.com/ in your preferred browser.
b) Navigate to “My Trip” option in the menu bar which is second most from the left and click on the box that reads “Log in to my account.”
c) Nextly, give your last name and booking reference number to get your booking information.
d) After this, screen will display the next available flights if your original ticket allows you to rebook , however in case of Economy Light Ticket you might not be given the opportunity to rebook.
e) Now, select the next suitable flight as per your schedule and click on “Continue” and pay the rebooking fees as applicable.
On Successful completion of above steps, a confirmatory mail will be sent with the new flight ticked on your registered mail account.
Charges for Reebooking Missed flight tickets
● For Standard Economy, you have to pay €70 to rebook your missed flight. The rebooking fee is the same as the Standard Business ticket. This charge is applicable for travel within Europe.
● You have to pay €200 as rebooking charges for both Economy Light and Economy Standard tickets if you’re flying from Europe to other countries such as the US, Canada, or Mexico. The rebooking fee goes up to €250 for the same international destinations and the same ticket type if booked in the Premium Comfort class.
● You don’t need to pay any rebooking fee for international travel or travel within Europe if you have a Flex ticket in the Economy or Business class.
