Men with erectile dysfunction (ED) can be treated with the drug Vilitra. Its primary component, vardenafil, is an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Vardenafil helps men get and keep an erection by boosting blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. Depending on the particular formulation (e.g., Vilitra 20, Vilitra 40, Vilitra 60), a suggested dose will vary. Typically, one pill should be taken orally, about 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity, along with a full glass of water. Only in the presence of sexual stimulation may vardenafil be effective.
